The catahoula Leopard dog

The Catahoula Cur is a beautiful breed of dog originating from Louisiana, being named the state dog in 1979. Follwing this he's name changed to Louisiana Catahoula Leopard dog, people believe he was the first dog breed in North America!. In the 16th cenury its believed that the North Americans bred the greyhound with the molosser, to produce this beauty.However, some believe he is part of the red wolf descendents. The final theory is believed to be when the French setled in the states in the 19th century, where they introduced the Beauceron. It was told that strange looking dogs with glass like eyes would be used to help the North American Indians hunt the swamp! the haunting glass eyed like dog was said to be a product of the French Beauceron and the Red Wolf.
HIghly energetic dogs, these hounds  enjoy taking charge of a pack, either canine or human! As a family dog they work well, but dont take too kindly to being isolated or left out! They are known to be protectors of humans, and are alert to anything out of the ordinary, making great guard dogs. The Catahoula species can be found in many different beautiful shades, however the prodomiantly white ones can have a 80% chance of being bilaterally deaf. From a puppy these pooches usually set ou back about $400 or £237.

The Thai Ridgeback

The Thai Ridgeback  was introduced to American in 1994.
A wise wrinkly face, and a ridge of hair along the coat of the spine. They are very strong willed, used for livestock guardians and protection hounds.They are very agile, with sleak slimline bodies, with lots of fast burst enegy spouts. The ridgeback is a loyal companian, an excellent jumper, and is very protective of their families. Not an ideal dog for the novice dog fan, but with the correct leadership and handling, this fine little fella will be mans best friend (or womans!).

STANLEY THE COCKAPOO!

Meet Stanley the cockapoo. Or "Manley" as we like to call him due to his somewhat doggy/human face.To be honest hes a bit crazy, and beng a little more honest hes a complete nutter, but theres something about having a doggy encounter with Stan that you cant quite not raise a smile!.

Cockapoos are half Cockerspanial, half Poodle. A strange bred i hear you say and quite rightly too!A small dog with a personality of a clown as some say. Its not until you spend time with these crazy little balls of energy you realise just how true that is!.The Cockapoo was the first of the "designer dogs" dating back to the flower power free love 1960's!

These fury friends are loyal, crazy, affectionate, crazy, accepting of everything and everyone, and did I mention crazy??! He can be trained easily, he will forgive quickly and has a nack of learning tricks.He shouldnt be a constant "barker", he shouldnt shed his curly glossy curly coat and he isnt a dog that causes allergies in us humans.

Sounds like a perfect little pooch, pursuaded much!!???
